Damo is the Head Coach of CrossFit Gladstone. He has been involved in CrossFit for 8 years and has been coaching for 7 of those. He is passionate about lifting heavy, working hard, having fun and hitting the beach in budgies.
With a Bachelor in Sport and Exercise Science with a minor in Performance Enhancement and Sports Coaching accompanied by a ASCA Level 1 he brings highly effective yet easily scalable workouts to the community.
Damo has experienced many high quality gyms (including CrossFit Torian) and has worked with the Brisbane Roar FC.
Damo prides himself on helping everyone become a better version of themselves.

Cherie has been involved in Crossfit since early 2014. She loves the mental and physical challenges that CrossFit presents.
As an Internationally Recognised Nutrition & Health Coach, Cherie is passionate about helping others to thrive in a fuss-free, knowledge based approach to nutrition that’s sustainable for life. She is also a mum of three, having trained during and after pregnancy, and has a special interest in women’s pre and post-partum athleticism.
Being a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer enables Cherie to share the opportunity that she has experienced personally with others - to work hard and build a stronger, more capable and resilient version of themselves with the support of a great community.

MEET THE TEAM
I started CrossFit four years ago, initially with the intentions to move the excess weight I was carrying after having my first daughter four months prior. Within the first month of joining my focus had shifted from weightloss to improving myself within the sport: Lifting heavier weights, being able to run 400m without stopping, gaining body weight pull ups, ect... As soon as I had shifted my focus and began to enjoy the process, everything just started to happen especially the weightloss... I ended up losing 15kgs in my first year of CrossFit!
I love encouraging others to find the enjoyment of health and fitness, and seeing what their body is actually capable of achieving!

I’m one of the CrossFit Kids coaches at CrossFit Gladstone. I joined CFG in April 2018 and since then my whole mindset and purpose for training has changed in the best way possible.
I am a CrossFit level one coach and a qualified personal trainer and nutrition coach. I am very passionate about all areas of health, wellness and fitness for all ages and abilities.
